PHP content Management System
We are looking at using this PHP CMS for our new site. What do people think of it. One of the reasons we want this product is that it is set up for a "newspaper" style site, on online publication site. We are looking at purchasing the product in the next two weeks, if we find enough possitive comments.

Well, it doesn't look all that good to me. It seems terribly restrictive in its licensing terms; I'd rather use free software. I can't even evaluate it properly as they've hidden their source code, and the demo is quite limited.
Apart from that, it doesn't appear to offer anything technically novel or better than competing products. I'm not sure exactly what a newspaper style site is, but it sounds like Drupal, Joomla or Django might be suitable. Have you considered them? They are free, have a large number of extensions/plugins, and are supported by large communities.
Probably the only thing that might be worth paying for at the site you linked is their warranty and support service -- which I can't comment about as I've not used them. However, you could just as well pay another professional to support you with a free product.

Joomla looks pretty awesome. I'm thinking twice about Geeklog...
