Perl+MySql - few questions
Can someone give me a quick example of how to take data from a mysql database, and use it in a perl program?
Say in the table 1 is row (or column,..forgot what heh)
is URL
and one of the entries is http://www.yahoo.com
And how can I add entries into a mysql database?
Say the table only consisted of 1 row called URL
how can I add $url (from my perl program) into the database table?
How can i get
that Url from the database into $url in my perl program?

dass, i'm sorry about the long waiting, just didn't find the time to come in here.....
since i'm not that confirm with the mysql-format, i will take a closer look about and give you an answer as soon as i can!
but i hope somebody else who's having some more experiences with this knows an answer???

I was hoping to get more into CGI/Perl and then be able to help out here - I have recently decided to go the PHP way though, as it seems to be a better option.
