Perl & Windows
Perl for windows can be found at http://www.activestate.com/activeperl
I am not sure how to set up a script to run on PWS. I prefer Omnihttpd.

Can you run a perl script on a windows machine? I use PWS and I want to start using Perl for CGI applications.
Could someone give me a quick tutorial in setting up a perl script.
I bought one of those dummies books on Perl programming but it didnt explain how to setup perl web scripts very well. Most of the book dealt with executing perl from the dos prompt.

PWS s another one of MS's good ideas gone bad.
you'll have to go a lot of tinkering with registry files or the config files for the web server if you want to get perl to run right.,

Get Apache from www.apache.org! Much better than PWS, and open-source too.
