perl & frames
Hi,
how to describe this, hmmmmmm
normally when running a perl script the link would be something like http://www.mydomain/cgi-bin/perlscript.cgi
and the script runs. I want to run a script in a frame, with the link on my homepage being something like http://www.mydomain/frameset.html, to get the perl script, (ikonboard in this case) to run do i have to have a "enter forum" html page in my frame (which i have now) or is there a way to get the script to run without this.
I hope this makes sense !!!
Thanks in advance
Tony
Before you criticise someone walk a mile in their shoes......
Then, if they don't like what you say they are 1 mile away and barefoot.

I see no reason why it wouldn't work if you pointed the src of the frame to the CGI...

Thanks, that works , it's amazing how the simple things can be the most difficult to figure out sometimes !!!!
