Newsletter Script

I am looking for a script that I cant seem to find. I need a newsletter script. I can find plent of those but I need it to noy only subscibe people via a form on the site but also enable them to subscribe by sending an email to an email address (ie [email protected]). I cant seem to find any with that last feature. Freeware or Cheapware would be fine.

I read an article on sending emails to CGI scripts and you have to forward the email to the CGI program using .htaccess.

I think it was an email on a perl programmer mailing list.

If anyone has the article, I would appreciate a forward or URL etc...

I have an application that needs the ability to take an inbound email and forward to a script to parse/post to database.
