Looking for CMS...

I'm already starting to look through all the normal places (opensourcecms.com, etc.), but wanted to post here in case any of you knew of some good software to fit my needs.

I'm looking for some open source software that lets users sign up for free and maintain simple, 1-page websites. BBCode support would be neat, but is not absolutely necessary. I will need it to support custom templates.

I don't need a big, bloated package that does 100 different things, I just need it to do one thing. If it gets down to where I have to strip tons of stuff out of some CMS to get it to just do what I need, I will probably just create one from scratch.

Anyway, if any of you have heard of any software that might fit that bill, let me know.

You know, that almost sounds like a Wiki. You could try hacking-up a copy of MediaWiki. I like the way each subject has it's own - SE friendly - subfolder in the URL, so it would be like: getasiteonline.com/username then they can edit their page using Wiki code (which isn't a million miles away from BBCode).

Or there's always trusty Drupal (it's standards compliant!) I started looking at the modules part of their site but ran out of lunch break. Am hoping there's something in there you could use.
