Index server - problem

Hello I wonder if you could help me in the following
problem.
Index server uses a result.htx in order to display search's results and the "path"
variable keeps the physical path of the finded file. The problem starts when I want to
parshe the "path" variable in order to keep a specific part of the string, but I don't
know how to parshe in htx file, as concern the syntax.I try it with Javascript but
failed. Any suggestions?
