I Need a Special cgi script

I need a "free" newsboard for my news directory on my site (www.mysite.com/news).
Problem#1: I want to put the lastest headlines on my main page (index."html").
I know lots of scripts that use SSI to put the lastest headlines on the main page... but,
Problem#2:My ISP doesnt support SSI (Server Side Includes).
=´(

Please tell where can I find this kind of cgi....
If you didn´t understand something, just post your reply to this thread, I have a big problem with my english...

your server supports CGI, but not SSI?
That makes no sence.... CGI requires much more server processing, so why would you block SSI, and not CGI?

Anyway, you may be able to use one of those SSI news scripts, and use JavaScript to include the content. You'll most likely have to hack the CGI to format the included file, so it uses JS to print the stuff...
