How to redirect paths...

Does anyone know how to do the following???

I am trying to set up my server (virtual host) to do redirect to a specific folder, i.e.

If you type in

location1.host.com
you are redirected to www.host.com/location1/

location2.host.com
you are redirected to www.host.com/location2/

and so on,,,

Any suggestions??
