Generating daily content with PHP and mySQL
Hiya,
I hope you may be able to help me with a query I have.
I am currently updating a box on the front page of my site weekly via standard ftp and html, and the box includes a 'site of the week'.
I am doing this as I am aware that search engines prefer sites that have changing content, and as the link changes each week, I assume that this will help me with my SERPs.
I was hoping it may be possible to generate this using a php script of sorts, and I hoped someone might be able to lead me in the right direction. All of the sites with links are already stored in a mySQL data base, so as far as I can see, it is just a matter of pulling a random site name/url from the database, and getting it to change on a daily basis. I would like to use php, as when it generates on the site, it will look like standard html.
I hope all this makes sense. If you need any further information, I will be glad to provide it.
Many thanks,
Andy
P.S. my site is http://www.heartsaffection.com to have a look at how it currently is.

sounds like you have answered your own question.
just make a seperate page where you can login into, add some data (whatever the stuff is) which is saved in the database ...
