Flexbook script Plea for Help

Hello there,

I don't think it the actual script which is the problem as many other have used it succesfully.

I have made sure the perl path is ok, I have discovered relative roots and applied them, I have CHMODe'd the script to 755 and the guestbook.html file to 777, a text template file containing raw html is used for the look of the entries was left as was when downloaded.

But..

I am unsure of a varible on the script asking about file locking. It says if you server uses it set to one other wise set to zero. I have tried both but neitehr work

When running the script I used to get the flexbook script generated 'template file can't be found' error but I remedied that with a relative path rather than a http:// address. Now instead I get a server generated 502 gateway error that says I should try again later Is this a fault on my behalf?

Finally If a variable says 'set to 1 if you want such and such to happen' but does not define an alternative, would it be zero?
