Fading pictures into each other

Hi,
I have 4 pictures of the same product but taken fron different views, i want to be able to show pic No 1 for about 3 seconds then have it fade out and pic No 2 fade in etc. etc. for all 4 pictures. Anyone know the best way to do this ??

For a complex photo fade, Shockwave or Flash is your best bet, not server-side scripting.
