hi,

how do you set the fileattributes on an nt internet server???

chmod won't work, because it's for a unix internet server!

But... to answer your question I think there is something in the web server config that you have to set. I believe you don't set seperate files but you set directories to link to Perl and also set the so that CGI can execute.

I know that seems a little paranoid of MS to do that (that's what they're here for) but they think it's a big security hazard to run CGI files in unsecure directorys.

tnx for the info
but the execution of cgi scripts is no problem i only have problems when i have to write to a file.
I read smth about the location to a file in a cgi script on NT, it seems that NT can't work with the virtual directory's.
