Apache and the htaccess file
I have posted this here before, but did not receive a reply. I am asking if anyone knows how to modify the htaccess file, so that it will insert a header into every html file within the specified directory. This is basically what Hypermart and Geocities use to generate those pop up ads. It is not SSI, since the code will be placed into the page whether you want it to or not. Can anyone help?

I would suggest looking at http://www.apache.org/docs/mod/directives.html ... Most of the tasks that can be added to the .htaccess file can be found there. I have never personally done this, seen this done, or even heard of it so I can't offer much help.
