Ad Rotation Programms
Hi,
I have been looking for a decent FREE ad rotation pragramme. I really am looking for a perl one but a PHP one will do if it doesn't use a SQL database. It needs to be quite complicated (logs click-throughs and can count impressions and limit banners to a number of impression).
Does Anyone Have Any Recomendations
Thanks In Advance

Hi,
Thanks for your recomendations. I decided to try out webadverts. I have a problem with the installation. When I try and get into the admin page for the first time it says "ads_count.txt not found...". I have looked in my directory for this and it doesn't exsist and there is no mention of this in the README. Should the admin be creating this or what?
Please can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?

I've tried several times to get WebAdverts running, but I've never gotten it to work. I use OrbitCycle. (www.orbitcycle.com) They're GREAT! The only drawback is that every now and then one of their banners will pop up on your page.

WebAdverts works very nicely, I have installed it many times without fail. If you have the DBI module, and want to use the power of MYSQL, with perl/mod_perl then check out Adcycle. It is free and looks and acts like the commercial equivelant.
It is running on my site now (dropped webadverts for it recently).

Try AdCycle ( www.adcycle.com ) : it's free, easy, fast (uses mySQL), free, powerful (text links and multiple sizes of ads). Did I say it was free?

I have both WebAdvert and Adcycle, however, since I need SSI, I chose Webadvert! Adcycle has a great admin. display, and mySQL's power
