Ability for users to ping locations?

Hi everyone...

I was wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction for some sort of ping script. We are running some game servers and would like the ability for users to visit our site and ping any one of 3 to 4 locations via IP. I've seen this done in various places and have searched for ping scripts but they dont seem to be quite what I need.

To ping from themselves to the server? Not something that could be done server side, since the server would have to access the client, and make the client ping and yeah, doesn't work.

The server pinging the other server is perfectly reasonable though:
