I have to make a bb for a client that likes big talker. So I downloaded the program and it's telling me to "chmod" my files... what does that mean???????? HELP!

"chmod" is a unix command used to change the permissions on files and folders. See man pages for complete description by typing "man chmod" at the command prompt.

As spragueg mentioned it's a UNIX command and is used when you upload your files in ascii mode to the your server using FTP, highlight the file and right click your mouse if you want to chmod the file.

The bb(bigtalker version) has been replaced with Boardpower v2.04 the latest version (perl and php version). Visit the below link if you intent to set up one, as they also have a forum where you can post any problems on installation, customizing, etc.
