UltraBoard
hello,
I am trying to install the ultraboard. I am hosted on an NT server w/ the frontpage extensions installed. I keep receiving an
-
Error, could not read/write the system.cgf Path- (showing the corresponding path to the system.cgf file)
reason : Permission Denied
I have been dealing with this error since yesterday, I have been to the support forum there and found people on ICQ and I have basically received answers that didnt work. However, I was told that that Ultraboard does need to be in CGI Capable directory, okok before I hear the DUH's, I had successfully run the setup.pl file up to the Save Configurations part (for anyone who has installed this board). The reason why I havent put it in my CGI Dir is because, well...I can't see it. I log in using Front Page 2000, I can't use FTP because of the Frontpage extensions. I have emailed my host several times (Powersurge.net) and normally yhet hace very quick responses, this time they have chosen to ingore my emails, and each time tell me that I do have a CGI box. I know I do, I just cant see it ( I have tried to make my own and says there is already a file that exist). They have provided no solution for the problem, does anybody else?
I hope someone can help
Thanks
Ravi

Hey!
Thanks, I have emailed them asking them to check their configs, I have been trying to get over this problem for the past day, frustration kicked in a long time ago, I hope this will solve it!

Hey, it's all fixed and working, it did have something to do with the permissions and the cgi-bin, they fixed it though!
Thanks !
