Hi -

I Own The Website BiggestLotto.com . I purchased the lottory script and it ran great until I had to move it to a Windows based server. The script stopped working properly and I was old then that it was becasue the script needed to be on a unix plateform (actually it could be n either but you ahd to make some changes in some lines of the script in order for it to run on windows servers properly). Rather than screw with it, since I don't know much about scripting, I got a new unix host...and move the sie again. Problem is , I am still getting the same errors/problems. I am getting the following error when you try and enter your email address to play the lottory:

Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, and inform them of the time the error occurred and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Apache Server at biggestlotto.com

Looks like a basic 500 internal error message to me.

Anyone know what is wrong?
Can anyone help me fix it?

let me know at [email protected] if you can fix it or are interested in helping me.

Thanks -

Just thought i would add...if you want to see the error yourself...just use any email address in the submit field. it obviously isn't working right....

I have been using [email protected]

Shocked)

just thought I would put that in case anyone wanted to seee the error but was worried about testing it.

No worries...just need some help!

That's not going to help, sorry. Here's the line that will, though:

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

So, do exactly that. Look in your error_logs for the exact error message.

Most likely though, a few things. Did you upload your files using ASCII transfer mode? Have you CHMODED them to 755? Have you checked that the path to perl (the shebang line - !#/usr/bin/perl) is correct for your system?

After reviewing your post...I checked the script control.cgi file and found taht the perl path was not correct for the new unix host I had moved it to. Just wanted to let you know and thank you for pointing out the "obvious" !

Thanks -
