Getting a CGI form to Work w/ ASP - Need JS shopping cart to deliver form to ASP
sorry for the delay terry,
can you tell us, what script you use ? this would help a lot telling you about the possibilities.
most ISP's also provide information about their CGI-possibilities for users, check their FAQ's for some help.

Doing my 1st shopping cart, ISP will accept asp forms. Is there a way to get a form that wants to use formmail.cgi to use sendmail.asp? The server support ASP (active server pages), VB Script and the 32 bit Windows .exe files created by C/C++ and Visual Basic.
Or do I need to install formmail.cgi? And how?
Thanks,

I've tried a number of JS based scripts but they want formmail.cgi installed in the cgi-bin
The ISP only supports asp, C++, visual basic or transforming Perl into an exe. I have looked and the only Perl to exe program I've found is $200 which I'd rather not spend for one project
Thanks for your response

i see, your problem is, your ISP doesn't support any perl at all, or do they?
maybe you ask them if there is any possibility to make perl-scripts run on the server, or you use another server to do this for you (i found an ISP that does this, www.nol.net but I haven't done it myself yet, so i can't tell you if they're good or not!)
have you ever tried using scripts that send the information via e-mail (this means they call up the user's mail-programm like outlook to send) ???
