creating message boards

HELP!!! I am a new webmaster. I am currently building my second site. This new site requires a message board. I have been doing some research but am basically clueless with all the language that is used. I have my books and am not brainless, but like I said clueless when it comes to some of the terminology. I would appreciate any and all help. I design in Dreamweaver.

You want to build your own message boards system? That requires some extensive, advanced knowledge... you would be best off using a pre-made one that you can customize. If you want best of the best, try vbulletin.com , or phpBB.com or Ikonboard.com for free.
