Secure ODBC connection?

I am trying to transfer a lot of data from my Windows machine to my SQL server. I think it's booting me out because the ODBC connection on my machine isn't secure. First of all, is this possible? and secondly, is it possible to create a secure connection between my machine and the SQL server?

Shouldn't a web host know how to do this? Confused

We run WHM and you can transfer sqls over https from the control panel.

Id SSH or winSCP in a s root if all else failed and update the sql files that way. Assuming you have root and know where mySQL is located.
