Running a Server on AOL
Do anyone know if AOL Un-Metered Dial-up (UK) is any good for running a simple web or maybe ftp server.

It's one of the best ISP's here in the UK, but until ADSL Broadband is enabled in more towns and citys we have to stick with a un-metered freephone ISP.
No ADSL No Cable...

Having been an eX BigblueSky and Redhotant (which all went bust and could never connect) , AOL is a godsend.
They do what it says on the tin.... "Provide Simple Unmetered Internet Access"... I've never had any complaints from them regarding over use. (I know people on Freeserve and BT Openworld who have had there accounts deleted cos of overuse)
