Perl/CGI/HTTP/Win2K Headaches....
Can anybody give me an idea why my server is responding with "Page cannot be displayed" HTTP 405 Resource Not Allowed - Internet Information Services when 'submitting' a form for e-mail processing by a FormMail Perl script?
I am hosting my own site on Win 2000 Adv Server, have ActivePerl 5.6.1 installed and using Geocel DevMailer 1.5 as the mailer. I cannot see any issues with directory or file access/permissions, have checked my SMTP service is running and allowed script execution in my Virtual Dir. The form page was built with NetObjects Fusion.
I have dredged the very depths of Microsoft's labyrinthine web site, trolled serveral search engines and downloaded half the web, but cannot find a step-by-step guide to ensure CGI will work...
