Perl running on IIS
About to change ISP's on this one.
Rob from CGI wrote a really cool perl script for me. It works great on his server. It works really good on my machine running HERDSoft's HTTP_HS server and perl. (All local)
However on my ISP the script isn't opening the DAT file.
I have run a simple script so I know that PERL is running.
Anyone have a problem running MYSql or such on IIS?
Any help you have would be appreciated.

Jim,
MySQL can be ran on IIS, but it really wasn't designed for NT servers. I would personally recommend moving the site to a UNIX server if you need perl and mysql and you need both of them to interact.
I have never setup mysql on an NT server so I won't be much help there, although I have set it up on a personal Win2000 machine which is running a UNIX based web server.
But, if you are paying for hosting service on a shared server, the chances of you finding or getting your current host to add mysql to their NT servers is pretty slim...
I hope you do find a solution to your problem.
