Hello
How do you chmod files on an Apache windows server?
How come when I try to run a CGI file on my machine it asks me to download it, but when others do it comes up text?
I go to "stop apache" and it says it has shut down, but my website is still online.
What in the world am I doing?
I am so new to home management of my server LOL

I'll try to answer at least one ofyour questions.

The issue of running or downloading a file is a browser issue. If your browser recognizes the file extension it will run it, save it or prompt you depending how you have that file type setup.

Ifyou don't have the type setup it will usually prompt you to open or save the file.
