Microsoft Exchange question

I need some information about Microsoft Exchange if anyone can help.

I have an application that I use that sends information to majordomo to subscribe someone to a particular mailing list from a JSP page.

i.e sendMail([email protected], [email protected],name of list to be subscribed to);

This sends a message to majordomo and subscribes that user to the list.

My problem is that I have a client that wants to use Microsoft Exchange to manage his lists and I would like to know what the process is to subscribe people to a mailing list in MS Exchange server from an external application. Can I still subscribe and unsubscribe people from my external webpage/application through sending emails to MS exchange or is the process different.
