Micro$oft Internet Exploder good or bad

I am getting a very large number of hits from Micro$oft Internet Exploder ( the dollar sign in Microsoft and the "x" in exploder are correct). I thought this might be the Webalizer analysis program but I'm not sure. Any suggestions?

MSIE is very popular! It's been without a doubt my favorite browser for a few years now since IMHO it loads fast, pages look good, it can display a lot of non-standard but very cool features, easy to create websites for, it doesn't have it's own design/color scheme that interferes with the website design, etc, etc...

You'll never know what's going to happen in a year though, the other browsers (all except for the poor excuse for a browser called Netscape) are improving a lot and getting more users day by day.

I've never heard of Micro$oft Internet Exploder
google searches turned up nothing but Microsoft hate webpages, but an Altavista search turned up other stats and message board posts
It seems to be an analyzer, but I'm not sure

I came across this:
http://www.dejavuz.com/weblog/webconf.html
It is a config file for Webalizer...
I'm not familiar with Webalizer, do you run it on your server or what?

I have had some in my webalizer logs. Some are from leech programs but others am unsure of.
There are a few browsers out there that use IE's reference - Opera (has IE as default), IEOpera (think has been renamed to gorilla) also has IE's reference.
You might find some with MSNIA as well

if your concerned do a whois on the ISP from your log files
