Mandrake 8.0 problems
I decided to install Mandrake instead of RedHat 7.1
The partitioning was rather difficult compared to RH7.1.
Somehow, I damaged my Windows Partition, and in trying to correct it, I damaged my swap partition for drake.
When I try to start HTTPD or when I try to telnet to my Mandrake, I get this error: YPBINDPROC_DOMAIN: Domain not bound
Any ideas?
Thanks!

Yeah, Mandrake 8 is a bit hard to install. I would recommend starting from scratch, as it would be very hard to try correcting this problem.

Is YPBINDPROC_DOMAIN the hostname of the computer?
I'd probably start over too.

Yeah, it seems you don't have BIND configured correctly.

Thats strange, because thats what I thought.
I went through my upgrade and install logs, and BIND was not installed anywhere.
I dont remember choosing BIND to install either.
I'm going to re-install a Redhat version of linux... Mandrake messed up windows twice.
Maybe I"m just doing something wrong.
Thanks!
