Macintosh WebServer
Hi guys, I'm going to venture into the world of the macintosh webserver. I know what everyone of you is saying right now.."Macintosh?". Yes macintosh..and I have my reasons...they might not be the best of reasons, but its a reason none the less. But I can't find any information on what kinda webserver software is out there for the macintosh. I know that appleshare IP is one..but we've already used it..and I'm not particularly amazed by it. Can you guys just give me some ideas.
Thanks!

Actually Macintosh web servers are about the most secure. The main reason is that not many people use them and there are no 'kiddie scripts' for the Mac.
How about using Apache? You would have to have OSX but it should work without much of a problem since Apache has been running on BSD, which OSX is based, for years.

Doesn't it just figure..lol. I got the new 867 mhz G4 with the superdrive. But it came with OS 9.2, thought it came with osx. Guess I should have looked into it better. But I was turned towards WebStar because it is native to the Macintosh. Don't get me wrong, Apache will always be my webserver sex symbol .
BTW I haven't burned any dvds yet, but if anyone has any info on burning them I'd like to hear it from you rather then through the methods of trial and error.
Thanks guys!
