Installing PHP on Linux RedHat
Hello!
I want to install PHP on a Linux Webserver but don´t how to. I´been told to download it from rpmfind.net, what is an rpm file? Do you know how to configure the server after I download it?

Nico, generally you will install a combo of:
Apache
PHP
MYSQL

You can find it at RPMfind. I am not a big fan of rpm's myself. The main reason is that they install in funny places(not the default) sometimes. I prefer to download the source file, the one with .tar.gz extension and roll my own. PHP 4.0 is the current version.
