Help With Uploading Files

Thanks in advance for the advice!

I have a site that I recruit people to become one of my business associates. Many of these people come from out of state, so I can't train them in person.

I am putting together a training site to solve this problem.

My problem;
I have uploaded some of my training materials to my training site using my scanner software. It has been some time ago, and believe it or not, I don't remember how I did it? DUH!

When I go to upload my files, it asks for SERVER name, USER name, password, and REMOTE directory.

What server name do they need and what is the remote directory mean?

My ISP is Prodigy
The site I want to uplaod my files to is hosted by Hypermart.(gotherenow.org/training.html
The files I need to upload are in My Documents.
