Domain pointing to a subdirectory on another domain
OK, here's the scenario. I have two domain names. I will have it setup through my host to point domain 'a.com' to domain 'b.com' so if i type in a.com, it will go to b.com. That's the easy part.
I think there is a script that does this, but can't find it. I want a.com to actually go to sub-directory on b.com
Anybody know where I can find this script if it exists?

Ok, I think I know what you want to do. You want to point 'domain1.com' to 'subdirectory.domain2.com' right? Why couldn't you just put a meta refresh in the index page of domain1 to point to the subdirectory of domain2?

Alternatively, if you're using apache as your httpd, you can setup a NameVirtualHost for that IP, and have a Redirect statement that points to domain1.com/subdir/

Justin, pretty much what i want to do, the problem is that domain1.com is being switched with pointers at the host company and as such there is no physical place to put an index page except on domain2.com and I don't want that one to re-direct.
roBofh, Not sure I follow what you are saying to do.
BTW, there are actually 4 domains that I want to point to individual subdomains on one central domain. Client doesn't want to spend the money to physically host 5 domain names at this time, which is what I recommended but don't really blame him.
Basically, the company structure is a main company with 4 subdivisions that are related but will have their own standalone websites. I guess an alternative would be to host the redirected domains on one of the free hosts and redirect them from there. I just don't like having the banners that you get with the free hosts.
