Deleted Root on MySQL
Don't laugh, but I deleted root on mysql. Apparently, I don't know the difference between deleting a "user" and a "host". Anyway, I need to reinstall mysql. I'm running Ubuntu (6.06.1 LTS) and MySQL Client Version 5.0.19 (whatever that means). I would like to completely get rid of that mysql install, and then reinstall the same version. I don't know how. I know the command line will look something like sudo apt-get remove xyz. I just don't know what to replace xyz with. I had the tutorial that showed my how in my bookmarks but forgot to back it up when I had to reinstall Ubuntu for the 3rd time (I can install ubuntu blindfolded now)...
Linux is user friendly, it's just picky about who its friends are

Too bad it won't work for me because I don't have another XP license. I ended up installing ubuntu again. Let's see how long I can keep this install going . So far my record is 7 days.
