Yeah, you're right. But I think earlier version won't work. Still waiting for mod_perl support before I set it through it's paces. Early testing on slashdot.org suggests that it could run 13% faster on heavy loaded servers! Whoa
Now if they will ever move MySQL 4.0 out of alpha status, then the two will make a powerful combo. I would be more excited about MySQL 4.0 than Apache 2.0, even Apache's speed has been improved. I think that it will probably be awhile before you see it in widespread use.

Yeah, and the latest version of mod_php doesn't work with it either, if I'm not mistaken?
