Got here more than 8 years ago. Nobody heard of Google back then, so I guess stumbled upon TWF by using AltaVista. I was looking for HTML, CSS and javascript resources for an internship I was following at the time.

Got referred here by Abhishek Reddy, another moderator here at TWF
It was when I first got started with the web and he recommended TWF so, since then, I've stuck around

I was looking at adapting a VBulletin site to Drupal and found Liam's articles and project there at drupal.org so I followed the link to TWF

It was just over 9 years ago (! Nine !). I would read any html/web design/webmastering site I could find. Of course, there weren't so many of them in those days. I believe I came across the what-next site first, which at the time was a general webmaster resource site. I got to the forums from there. See the big link to the forums on that page there? Yep, that was the olden days.
At first I mainly did critiques. I found it fun and liked helping others with their sites. I'm generally good at being critical (ha ha) Then I was asked to be a moderator in the critiques section.
Unfortunately the thieves who stole webmaster-forums.com have a robots exclusion so we can't see what the site looked like back then. I remember though It was blue. Well, not really blue, but white background with lighter blue header area.
Oh, the nostalgia
By the way, we will be celebrating our 10th anniversary in the fall. Any ideas for events or prize donations would be appreciated.

Although it was nearly 3 years ago, I actually remember I was looking for a webmaster forum to start learning how to code.
Although, I didn't really do much for a year of my membership as I got busy with another project un-related to www.

Yeah, I'm with Greg K. When I first stumbled upon this website (though not through that service), I can't remember exactly what my motive was, but I think I was looking for an answer for an HTML problem I was having at the time.
