Any idea how I can get rid of this error:

http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.openmindmedia.co.uk%2Fproof%2Fweb_services%2Fsearch_engine_optimisation%2F

It's being caused by the Live Chat graphic displayed on the lrft of each page here:

http://www.openmindmedia.co.uk/proof

Apart from that it validates!

Thnx in advance

Change &url= to &url=. The client should parse that as an ampersand... check that the link still works with the change anyway.

Also pay attention to this:

Quote: Character Encoding mismatch! The character encoding specified in the HTTP header (utf-8) is different from the value in the element (iso-8859-1). I will use the value from the HTTP header (utf-8) for this validation.

See what headers you're sending.

That didn't work. The parser still looks at it as a & Sad

Any other ideas?

What she said. Smiling I made a local copy to test with, swapped the ampersand, and lo, it validated. Wink

Don't worry Flipper, I've also had problems with DW saving documents... Naffing around for half an hour wondering why nothing is changing on the page, then finding all you have to do is restart DW - Grrrr. Sad
