WMP not working

Hello,

I wasn't sure which forum to ask this question in. I am stumped.

I inserted a script for a windows media player (wmp file) in a new page in Front Page 2003. I looked at it in 'page view' and the video played perfectly so I know the script does work. After I saved the page however, the video would not play period.

I have tried everything I know.

Any suggestions will be much appreciated.

Hi George, welcome to TWF! Laughing out loud

I do not use Front Page - perhaps if you can post some of the code (using the code tags, third icon from right in the toolbar) we may be able to help you better.

What file format are you playing? .wmv? .flv? (as far as I know .wmp is not a valid extension for a media file)

When you say "After I saved the page however, the video would not play period" do you mean when you saved and viewed locally, or after you uploaded the file online? If online, is the path to the video file correct?
