Where I can find music files on the internet?

I am new to the web design. I am hoping I can design a homepage for my family by following Mr. Pollock's tutorials. My current plan is to put our Christmas/New Year letter on the web. So I thought it would be nice if I can embed a Christmas song in my file. But I don't know where I can find such a song.

Can anyone help me?

Thank you.

Well- there are tons of places on the internet you can download music. If you want wave file (.wav), check out www.wavplace.com

I would recommend using midi files (.mid) for music. They are a lot smaller. Search at Altavista or Yahoo for Midi, and you should get tons of results.

Yes, I would also suggest MIDI files for songs you plan on embedding into your page as they are much smaller and some actually enhance the content on a website. If you don't know what they are, they come in .mid files and sound like what can be characterized as "video game" or "computer" music... Do searches and such for Christmas Midi... there are many sites purely devoted to this topic.

I would suggest not using midi files because they suck. Personally they drive me crazy. If I visit a site that uses midi files I immediately exit - they are the worst design craze since blinking text.
