What's a good layout for an international address form?
Hello,
It's me with the forms again! this time I am designing an address form. I'm sort of struggling with how to design it so that it's nice looking, compact, and is flexible enough for international addresses. I'll probably use some unobtrusive javascript to change the "province" field depending on the country. In order to do that I'll need to know the country before the Province field.... or maybe I should find some other way to do it...
Does anyone have any good examples of an address form?
Here is what I have so far (work in progress!):

When it's pointed out, and you think about it, it feels a bit awkward that country and province are not immediately next to eachother. But when you're filling out a form, I believe it would just be glossed over, and no one would notice.
P.S.
Did you and JeevesBond marry? Well, congratulations to you and whoever you married

Yes, we did get married! The wedding was on June 9th. Thanks for the congrats
I agree that the placement of Country seems ackward but I'm not sure how to do it so that I can change the province/state input...

I think the answer depends very much on what you mean by "international"? A quick google brought up a several references on international postal address formats. You may find this one useful:

I just want to keep it general enough so that most addresses will work. Canada and the US will see more specific options. That's a useful reference, thanks China and parts of the Middle East are common for our audience.
I'm also concerned with how to align the form boxes in a way that makes the most sense and looks good too...
