very simple...
I'm using IE5 and NS4.06. Below is code for a table along the top of the page and two more tables underneath it, side by side. In NS, I cannot get the two side by side tables to be tight up against eachother. I did pretty much what I wanted to do, with and , but I want to figure out where I keep falling short. What could it be??

I just hate it when that happens.

Haste makes waste. Thanks for pointing that out, Andy. Did you try it in Netscape?
In NS4.06, the tables still refuse to tighten up in the middle of the page. I clean out the cache, etc., and still can't get rid of it. Is this even practical to use for layouts? I was figuring the browser would load/display each table seperately and save time. HTML would be really easy if it weren't for things like this.
Thanks again for catching that lame mistake,
SteveII, just a little bit more humble
