Vertical margin between floating div and fixed footer?
Hi,
I'm trying to create a responsive design... At the bottom of the page my footer is "position: fixed" with "bottom:0". Just above I have the main content div that is "float: left" and "clear: both".
The trouble is that the bottom of the main content div is partly hidden by the footer div.... How can I have a vertical margin to separate the 2 divs?
Thank you!

Put enough padding at the bottom of the content div to leave space for the footer?

What I wish to do is to visually separate the 2 divs and not only the text in the main content div from the footer. Those 2 divs have a border and it's not visually appealing if one is behind the other.
