Validation query

Hi

Does it matter if your site is only html 4.01 validated? I have a site that is 4.01 validated 'loose' but has errors on the Xhtml validation, does that matter much as long as one if validated?

Thanks

HTML and XHTML are different, if you are happy with HTML validation then cool, ideally strict is something to aim for but isn't needed, as long as it validates Smiling

Hi

Yep I know they are different, I am a html newbie really but I was wondering as long as one of them validates then that should be ok still and be enough for now?

Thanks

Yes it will be enough for now. But soon... soon... you must learn the ways of the force! (force=xhtml)

In Star Wars terms, anything that is just HTML (any) is like... Vader in the last scene of episode III. You know, when he screams "Noooooo!" That's when i realized Vader is a punk... much like HTML.

(X)HTML is like Yoda, OB1, and Luke all combined! Do you know why?
Well...DO YOU?

Because of the lower-case letter and this... /

PLAIN OLD HTML IS FINE

Depends what your goal is in getting validated.
