validating a cgi counter at w3c

How can I get a cgi counter to validate at W3C?

Add alt="" to the images? I'd guess that you would have to go into the counter code itself to do it.

If you want Sonia, I can take a look at the script. But you probably don't have it available, right? It's part of a hosting offering or something? In that case, you'd have to petition the host to get their script fixed. Sad

This counter is the same one that you helped me with in THIS THREAD a while back. (bad memories...LOL)

The counter script is from matts archive if I remember correctly and yes it is provided in the hosting package that the site uses. Don't worry about it. Too much trouble. At least I have the satisfaction of knowing the site validates with the exception of the counter.Wink
