unwanted scrollbars problem
Hi,
I'm having this strange problem with an horizontal scrollbar showing up in the redesign of a site. the only difference in the redesign is that instead of having an embedded flash movie as a navigation bar in my div id="layer3" I know have a text based navigation bar in that same div id="layer3"
This seems to only happen in IE 5 on a Mac and I can't seem to get rid of it.
Here is an example of both designs :
old one :

new one:

Any suggestions how I can get rid of this problem without using iframes ? thanks

I've just viewed your site at 800*600 in IE6 and I get no scrollbars at all except for the iframe one. By this I mean I don't even get a vertical scrollbar so I don't get to see the whole of your site!

oups, can you check it now... somehow the scroll="no" instead of "auto" was in place in these test pages.

the horizontal scrollbar only appears on IE5 on a Mac. Now that I have the scroll=auto, the horizontal scrollbar on IE5 on a Mac has dissappeared but the whole page vertically scrolls down all the way down to the hidden content in the layer.

thanks for your help and poiting out the screen resolution problem. I'm going to set the scroll back to no for the moment to see if anyone else on a Mac can figure this out. Hopefully by fixing that I'll be able to switch the scroll back to auto afterwards.
