trouble with a form
I am trying to build a simple form for people to complete then submit to me via email. I have taken the basics from one of our web pages that does work and creates a simple to read layout in the email I receive, however in the new page all I get is the email with what looks like code and the responses all run together instead of laid out nicely. It also won't put what I want it to say in the subject line.
I've put the code side by side and I can't see the difference.
Appreciate the help...as you no doubt can tell, I don't do much web design and what I do attempt needs to be newbie level.

Just to clarify, what are you using to send the mail? Since you didn't place this in the server side section of the forums, I am assuming you are using something like
can you provide a link to the sites, or past the code here (removing your own e-maill address of course)

One thing I forgot to ask, is the page youa re having trouble with and the one where you copied the code from (the one that works) on the same server? If they are on different servers, it may be a difference in the configuration.

Why not try one of these remotely hosted scriptsto process your forms? It'll look and work much better than using a mailto! Failing that, install a formmail script. Most hosting providers at least allow for perl scripts.
