text area display
I have a chat room that loads the latest posts to a text area box. Once the text box is full, scroll bars appear and the new posts are out of view if you don't scroll down. How can I get the bottom of the text area to display instead of the top? Here is the page.

I don't think that's possible...
What you could do is use an (IE only ) and place an on the bottom of the page and refer to that in the submit. When the chatpage then refreshes, the chatpage will be opened at the bottom.
Hope it helps...

I like the solution.
I found some other problems that you might need to know about.
Microsoft JET Database Engine error '80040e14'
Syntax error (missing operator) in query expression ''mross: ''''' test')'.
/db/livechat/html/footer_chat.asp, line 15
You need to do a replace() to replace the 's in the input box, or your site will blow up.
There was an "object Required" error but I have not been able to duplicate it
Thanks,
Mike
