check out http://users.breathemail.net/daniel.clough/

I have my navigation menu as a table and then the main are as a table.

As I add to my main area, it adjusts the lft hand navigation.

How can I sort this. I understand as I add content to the main area it is going to stretch the left navigation lenghth ways and space it out more. This however adjusts where the links sit and looks horrible when you browse the site.

So what can I do ? Just make sure the content does not go too far down or that there is just the right amount in each page so that the navigation sites right up where it should and thereofr each navigation on each page looks the same ?

Cheers

Another technique to use is to use embedded tables. By doing so, you can use a pre-defined cell height and width for each sub table containing each different link. You can then adjust the table cells as you choose.

It still wont be perfect..text never is. If you wish to be exact at all times...best bet is graphics....
