tables and body text?

Hi Guys,

Im after a bit of advice. I use a program called internet business promoter to optimize my website. It flagged up at me saying i only had two words of body text on THIS PAGE, when clearly it has a lot more. Im using tables to run the site at the moment, is there a tag or some sort of system i can use which tells the search engines etc which part of the page is body text?

Cheers for any advice provided.

Kind Regards,
Andy MacDonald

Well your site will not validate. You appear to have an entire web page (ALL OF IT, starting with fresh new and tags) inside of your table.

Hint: Validate your code.

http://validator.w3.org/check?verbose=1&uri=http://www.swiftmediauk.co.uk/website-design.php

For beginers, the w3 validator can be overwelming, so I suggest trying Dr. HTML (http://www2.imagiware.com/RxHTML/) on the page first, gives a little more friendlier info. Choose "Single Page" and for then below where you enter your URL, choose the "verbose" Report Format to get the most explaining.

I'm sorry to say, but it strikes me odd as to a site advertising web design could not figure out this easy of an error.

You can download CSE Validator Lite free. It will help keep you on track with your html. It shades the problem areas, and usually gives you some correction hints. Better than having to run to the internet all the time. Link here http://www.sharewareriver.com/product.php?id=712
