Stale Web Pages?

I update my web page quite often. How do I keep people from seeing older versions? I've heard about the use of meta-tags...How does that work? Is there any other way besides using meta-tags? Like JavaScript or something? Just wondering.

That's not a problem. But if you still think it is, then I'm sure you can use a cookie or meta tags that has an expire date...
